The ARCOR N treatment offers additional technical advantages on mechanical parts subjected to bending (hydraulic cylinders, dampers, etc.).

It is an austenitic nitrocarburizing process with a treatment temperature of 630°C, combining a nitrogen austenite layer (a very ductile layer) under the combination layer.

This double layer offers crack resistance on parts subjected to considerable bending.
